does Barclays Treat Hard pulls for a CLI from other credcards different than aplying for new credit?

I just got a Barclays cash forward card and I'm going in the garden for at least a year but would Barclays treat a hard inquiry for a CLI from another card the same as applying for new credit I know they hate you applying for new credit while your account is still young.

I would think that there would be a difference between "new account" and cli...not sure how they would look at it though...good question...

I wouldn't worry about a couple inquiries.  For all they know you are opening a checking account.

normally I wouldn't but with Barclays anything is possible.

I dont know, an inquiry is an inquiry, , if they see inquiries, they still may assume too many inquiries. No one ever accused Barclays of being reasonable
