is this card a visa or master card or discover?????????
Mine is a Visa.
It's likely possible to request a MC.
It's a Visa, unless otherwise noted as a MasterCard on the application.
You actually have to seek out the MasterCard version if you want it:

Which is betters? Visa or MasterCard?

Hard to answer that, and within the Freedom card product, I don't think there's a difference worth worrying about beyond where you can use it. That said, I generally feel that Visa Signature is materially superior to MasterCard World, if you qualify for that tier.
FWIW, my Freedom was originally a MasterCard and I was able to convert it to VISA, so you're not committed for the life of the account.

Which is betters? Visa or MasterCard?
Both are equal if you're just talking about Freedom benefits. If you're talking about issuer benefits, then the Visa may be best. It can come in a Visa Signature flavor, however it's not as common or as easy to get as simply receiving a $5,000+ limit. When I applied and was approved, I received a $7,000 limit. I didn't even know it could be a Signature. Reading the forums, I learned that usually at 13 months, they will offer to turn it into a Signature. It's been 14 months for me and still nada...I don't mind though, because my Sapphire is a Visa Siggy
I have also read that they do not offer a World Mastercard version of this card (though if somebody has it, correct me!). So if you're hopeful or persistent (or both) of a Visa Siggy upgrade, then the Visa may be best for you.
However, if your wallet is overrun by Visa's *cough cough MINE*, a Mastercard may be a nice change of pace and helpful if you ever come across somewhere that won't take Visa but will take Mastercard. Very rare, but it does occur. At my school, if you want to pay your term bill with a CC online, they only accept Mastercard, Amex, and Discover...no Visa. Super weird, right?! My only mastercard is my Orchard Bank, but at least all my cards are somewhat different when it comes to Visa (Freedom - regular Visa, Easy Rewards - Visa Platinum, Sapphire - Visa Siggy)

i like having my chase freedom MC because, like you, my other cards are visa (and a macy's Amex).
every once in a rare while, i come across a place that doesn't take Amex or visa
Most everywhere takes Visa, but MORE places take Mastercard (Sams club, local DMV's) just a thing I've noticed.
