barclaycard rewards for avg credit is very easy to get. I would highly reccomend it as a starter card. Free fico score, rewards boost website its kinda like a poor mans discover it.
+1
Does Discover IT pull TU?
This is the least of my inquiries because I just lifted the freeze since AUgust. 1 Barclay inq since August for CLI.
2 unpaid tax liens and 1 PIF ch from FP.

And sometimes they double pull. They pulled EQ and EX for me.
As for the Sallie Mae, your TU score should be at least 640 to have a chance at that card, but if you want to get your foot in the door with Barclays, the Barclays Rewards for average credit is a great choice, and its rewards are actually pretty decent.
I cureently have the Barclays NFL rewards card and recently got the CLiI from $500 to $1000.
I figured any Barclay card is my next best shot until the inq drop off from EX and EQ.

I wouldn't reach for cards, I would come up with an plan of what cards you want and only go for those cards. Just lets your accounts age eventually your scores should increase imo
640 to have a chance. I'm not the only exception.
I actually have seen several other people on myFICO be approved (upon recon) with midrange 600s TU, but yeah, it's definitely iffy. 670-680 or higher would be much better. Barclays appears to be particularaly lenient about substandard scores from people who have a few existing credit lines already but not too many.

Has anyone had an experience with other easy approval lenders.

Out of the sub-prime lenders, I think you have the top of the pile with Crapital One. I am assuming your card is the QuickSilver One MC and not the QuickSilver Visa.
If you get the invitation from them, Merrick Bank isn't all bad. There is an anual fee, but you get a free FICO credit score in return. At least it isn't a complete waste like the AF on your Crapital One card.
Capital One does have TU Credit Tracker for free every month.
Ok just found out they're a FAKO, not FICO. Anyways, it's still something rather than nothing at all.
