another pre approval from them, this one for $700 with a $175 af. i of course immediately but coupons for ammunition in the prepaid envelope and mailed it back to them. i really hope they enjoy the coupon! I really hope noone on this board ever gets a card with this high of an af EVER!

Before I knew any better I had a card with them. $300 limit with a $95 security deposit, $75 annual fee and $6.75 a month account maintenance fee.  Oh, and the apr was 49.9% eventually lowered to 39.9%. So glad I'm in a much better place and don't need them anymore! The only way I got my deposit back was by complaining to their state attorney general.  Very predatory company.

Is that high an interest rate even legal?

If 579% Payday advance loans are legal, then so is this unfortunately. Even if it is criminally high.
