Down to one baddie left but not going to mess with it being it falls off in 5 mos. Started wtih 7 derogs with zero credit history. Tonight I will request my secured card with NFCU be unsecured as well as an APR decrease. Hoping for a 5k limit.
I also have a BOFA secured card but Im going to wait and see how the NFCU account turns out and after they report I'll hit up BOFA. Not going to get too excited about BOFA though if im lucky and I mean lucky they are likely to give me my 300.00 back and increase the limit to 1,000 but I wont count on it.
Im going to close (PUTTING FLAME SUIT ON) my first premier card. This card is actually a secured card that only has a 50.00 year fee but surprisingly they didnt charge it at the year mark last month and there are no other fees despite the horrific reviews people give here.
If everything goes well with NFCU ill also apply with Chase freedom and walmart and thats it until that last derog falls off then who knows.
Someone get me some anti itch cause I dont want to keep scratching it! lol
****UPDATE**** NFCU approved for 5000.00. They asked how much I wanted I told them 5000.00

that's great =) nice to see others getting huge jumps in scores in a short time. in 2 months try to dispute the items as obsolete they'll often remove early if it's close enough
I was even worse than you last year =)
