Thanks for the responses.  I followed members recommendations here and started with 3 secured cards while I worked on my derogs.  2 things that every rebuilder should have is patience and persistance.  Im sure I couldve hit 700's but I'd rather let that last derog fall off.  No sense in poking something that is 7 years old.  The best part other than getting collections deleted was finding out I was eligible for NFCU.

****UPDATE****  NFCU approved for 5000.00.   They asked how much I wanted I told them 5000.00

Nice work! You did what you had to and now you can get some really good cards, and you turned yourself around from having terrible credit to having decent credit now. Keep it going!

They wouldnt unsecure my secured nrewards.  Today Ive had it for a full year and they told me they no longer do it at the 12 month mark now instead they auto do it at the 13 month mark.  I got the cli on my plat. card originally was 1k limit requested 5k instant approved over the phone
