Frig broke last night, it is unrepairable. Need to decide on new one ASAP. Any thoughts on the best cashback deals or stores to use either in person/online etc.? Looking prob for whirlpool or maytag
I have chase freedom, discovermore, barclays rewards MC available. Could probably get approved for lowes or home depot but wouldn't want to app unless it was a great deal. Mostly I'm looking for cash back possibilities above standard 1%. Already have some 0% APR choices so don't need a new app for that.
Discover's 5% rewards changes to dept stores on Oct. 1, and they have extra 2% on Oct. 6. I imagine you probably can't wait that long, but I just thought I would throw it out there.
Lowes has 5% off a single purchase greater than $299 (I think) and 0% financing for the first 6 months.

0% APR plus rewards is probably the best deal, if you are willing to take the UTL hit, you can put on a 0% card and pay minimum payments while the money sits in your bank accounts or possibly a CD earning more than 1% interest, and you get the rewards plus 1-2% interest. Of course long term it would be best to toss the money in the CD, pay minimum payments and perhaps a bit more then when the 0% APR deal is done you pay the rest of the balance so its PIF and you keep the CD going
Yeah, really wish I could wait till oct but not worth it. GF is already rushing me out the door
I think I'll just put it on my chase w/checking for the 1.1%
I sent you a PM. Didn't know about posting like to another site on the forums.
Lowes, HomeDepot, and Sears are all in the ShopDiscover mall for 5%
At least that way you don't have to apply for something new.

That's the way to go. I usually use the brick and mortar stores as places to check out samples, then I order through ShopDiscover. I did that with a new mattress from Sears.
dont hold me to this but i seen a sears commercial last night that said their appliances are like 40% off and an additional 15% with sears card???
