My QS1 has been PCed to the QS and no longer has a $74 AF(!!).   it was a Household Bank rebuilder CC.   Once I get the CL over $5K, I will call the Cap One EO to see about PCing to the regular QS and getting rid of that fee for good upgrading to a WMC.   Last year, the EO waived it but the only way to avoid the AF this year was to PC, which I had no issue with.

My Costco TE AMEX has a defacto AF or $55 (Costco membership is required for the card).

My Cap 1 card has an AF of $20. That comes out to about five cents a day.

It's my oldest card at 17 years and I have bigger battles to fight than worrying about this small amount.

I know you've said before that it isn't worth the hassle of contacting the EO about, but it might be an easy fix if you did...

I know what you're saying and I appreciate the advice. If I was younger and struggling I'd definitely try to have the AF waived/and or removed but at this point in my life I count my blessings and am thankful that this $20 truly doesn't concern me.

But... I try to never say never and perhaps some day when I'm in the right mood I might look into this.
