how to get CLI from discover without hard pull

Hi I have a discover more card with a CL of $1000 which I opened in aug 2010 since then I paid everything on time no lates no nothing but they never gave me an increase.

This is the only card I have with a low CL otherwise I have Amx Blue with 5k, Citi 4k another citi 9k and a chase 4.7k.

Last time I spoke to somebody at dicover like 6months ago and asked for a CLI but the answer was,  a hard pull is required to see if you qualify for a CLI or not so I said don't do it.

Please suggest what to do ?

Try telling them the only reason you want a CLI is to improve your FICO by decreasing utilization, and the INQ will hurt your situation. Worked for me but YMMV.
