Re: i reallyyyyy want chase sapphire preffered

Usually, my advice would be wait 6 months to a year but the CSP seems to be more income sensitive.

Scores aren't great but you may still be on the borderline of what they'll approve.

I'd ask Discover for a CLI (no HP), see if that improved your score, then apply in a few months.

Re: i reallyyyyy want chase sapphire preffered

If Discover will give you a CLI, with no hard pull, there's really no reason to wait beyond when the statement cuts.

Chase is fairly reasonable to deal with during reconsideration. If denied for too many inquiries all you have to do is tell them about recently getting a car and student loans.

I generally try to pay before statements cut. That might give you a few more points.

I would wait at least 6 more months and when your score is above 700.

Yes, that's what my income is and I got it with a 700 and an old paid CO from Chase (2005) as my only baddie

Re: i reallyyyyy want chase sapphire preffered

Chase seems fairly open about liking income to be above $50K for their Signature and Preferred products.

Even with a good score and clean history, my Freedom isn't eligible for Signature upgrade. I'd qualify using household income but don't feel doing that should be necessary.

At minimum...at least 3 months, when that AAofA becomes one year, and that Chase SW is 6months old.

But as others have said, better to wait 6-12 months.  Give everything a chance to age, those INQ will fall off/not negatively affect your score at 12 months down the road.   You also might get some auto-CLI from Discover and CITI that would help you out, or you could request a CLI on those 2 as long as it's a SP.  Don't take a HP for anything right now.
