so ive had this wells fargo card. yesterday marked 12 years of my first CC. i have never closed it and have never had a CLI. its now my smallest line of credit at $500. the last time i asked for a CLI they hard pulled me. 
chevron has been on my want to close list for a while now...the interest is 26% so i have been trying not to use it. however, i have one 30 day payment falling off next month or two. should i just keep that one open? that one has 11 yrs 3 months on it. 1500 limit. they stopped giving me limit increases in 2007; probably due to my 30 day late. i sock drawer both of these cards, but my sock drawer could use some room.
What are your MyFICO scores, and which other cards do you have?
That's odd that even with that long of a history, and a HP, no CLI.
