is one credit card really enough

i just received my first credit card ...it was from a credit union for $5000 credit limit with a 12.50 fixed rate.... my credit scores are between 712 and 730.. do you recommend getting anymore or would that one raise my score significantly higher. thanks in advance

to me 2 or 3 is optiamal
 
1
A visa or mc that carries a rate your willing carry a balance on.
 
2 another visa or mc, that has a rewards program that fits you, chrage on it like crazy, but still to be able to pay it off every month
 
3 If you want a AMEX or Discover get that and use your visa/mc rewards card as backup

It all depends on what your needs are. Are you looking for rewards? Cash Back? Electronics? Special Financing offers?
