scottwagnon wrote:what inspired my inquiry is i heard of someone that had a record total of 1700 credit cards, and his lowest limit card was for an ice cream store for 50 dollars. i don't know if this was just a charge only account or an account you could carry that kind of balance.
11883&page=1 He had just under 1500 at the time of that article and has only ever been denied for 1 credit card in his life!!
I wonder how many pages make up his CRs??? ![]()

Before I pulled my reports to try to fix everything last month, I had SD's a Dick's Sporting goods MC and forgot about it about a year (or more) ago. From lack of use they had lowered the line from $4000 to $124. I just called for a CLI to $2000, and will try for $4000 in 4 months. I have learned here about rotations and not just leaving no APR lines go to waste

k. that is a good example. im not curious about 300 dollar limit cards. cards with 150 or less. i am especially curious about cards that have a CL of 50 or less.
I doubt you will find a CL less than $50 because when I worked in retail many years ago, if Credit card processing went off line, the registers would automaticly approve any charge less than $50 by agreement with the Credit card companies.
