so i asked for a cli from macys a few weeks ago.
according to the letter oct 23rd.
anyways they sent me my score 728. but its from 250-900 so this means non fico? correct i mean it really doesnt matter.
it says they obtained my credit score via equifax but there was no pull done that i can see or a inquiry showing on score watch.
i can agree with some of the reasons they gave-4
-length of time accounts have been established-10 months last time i asked was 1.8 years
-to many inq in last year (guess they watch for those) - i have 8 since 2/2/12 damn you bank for pulling my credit so many times
-proporation of loan balances to loan amounts is too high.- well its a car that i got in august obviously its high.
-length of time revolving accounts have been established-again i agree its dropped dramatically since this summer.
so just an fyi, a macy's cli denied with soft pull and again i got a cli from 2k too 3.5k in july done on a soft pull as well.

With those ranges it would be a non-fico score. It would be a proprietary score that they did, could include FICO and be enhanced with their own lending algorithms.
@ Sho. I love Macys. They have been my 1st CC since 1999. Are they a soft or hard pull for cli's?
They seem to do CLI's via a SP.
