i filled for bankruptcy on april 2009 and was discharged on july 2009. for 14 months i clean up my credit report and paid off most of my post bankruptcy debt.
just a fews days ago i found out that i was qualified for navy federal credit union. sat i sign up on line application and was approved. that afternoon i applied
for the ncard rewards credit card and was approved for 8,500 dollars. my highest card ever. i guess my re-building is almost over soon i will get rid of my
orchard card 700 dollars and my cap one 500 dollars all with af. just two weeks ago i was approved for pc richard store card with ge money bank. also keep my juniper bank card mc 1600 dollars.

my fico eq is 681. they pull eq only. ge money bank also pull eq. approved for two cc and waiting for approval for my 4000 personal loan.
How are all you getting Navy Federal credit cards? I thought you had to be in the military to join?
Look at their field of membership. Military (active, reserve, retired), DOD Civilian employees and DOD Contractors, other government employees assigned to DOD installations, and family of all of the above. Once a family member of someone on the list becomes a member, I believe all their family members become eligible.
