Just need to vent, I guess I'm feeling extra hormonal today..ahahha I wish c1 would stop sending me bt offers.  they won't give me a cli from my $1000 or lower my apr, but they think i want a car loan, or bt option or a mortgage refinance thru them..they are smoking something if they can't give me a cli then stop sending me bt, etc..

I'm with you. They keep sending us cross-sell materials but I've had the same credit limit for 4 years.

VERY irritating.

Too bad they are my oldest cc. I think I'm stuck with them...

Typical Cap1 manipulation.

They do the same thing with CC limits. They will give you a $300 limit, deny a CLI, then offer you a new card and award another $300 Card and so on. Why? Because they want;

a) overlimit fees
b) high utilization per card
c) to raise your APR
d) to make more money then they would have if they just gave you a $3,000 credit-line in the first place.

Not sure how their CEO won CEO of the Year, I think they straddle criminal abuse of the system. Talk about predatory lending.

When I called in recently for a backdoor CLI, I was told I wasn't using the card enough.... I wonder why???? tsk.

that's kind of what i was told last time i called, they like to see high usage and that's how they determine cli..well why would i want to se the card w/high apr and low credit limit.and that's exactly what i told them...i was nice about it but it didnt get me anywhere..

I called them recently to get my name off their list. No more bs checks for me

As for clis, they granted a few for me already.

I keep forgetting it's Capone's turn in rotation this month- (starting today)  It is at 5K now- been SD'ed for 4+ months.

Hey! That's a much better limit! So they finally broke down and gave you CLI's?

So perhaps in another 2-4 years I'll see it break $1K.... oy....

Yaw gotta leave my CAP1 alone lol. But for real CAP1 is the only 1 of my cards that's giving me CLI. Hooters bout hit 6 month so I might start a thread venting about them if they don't show me luv.
