OK, after being completely tempted on the board, I left the garden and app'd DM. Got the card, 0% for 15 mos on BT, YEA! Where will the HP be? If I was to AP Citi in a month or two, where do they HP? Could I be lucky enough to end up with one HP on two diffferent CB's?
For me Discover pulled EQ and Citi pulled EX- in VT
I didn't know where you lived made a difference. Why? I live in IL if that helps anyone.
Discover pulled both Equifax and Transunion for myself being in Oregon. No experience with Citi so can't help ya there.
Grats on the Discover card though!
Discover pulled EQ and so did Citi, I'm on the East Coast.
I believe Discover pulls EQ or TU. Citi pulls EQ or EX. So there is a chance depending on your state you might get an EQ pull for both.

This stuff is so confusing. Why do they pull from different places for different people? Why does it matter at all where you live? Aren't these things processed in a central office somewhere? Even with multiple offices, you would think they would have a company policy. I don't get the lack of consistancy. So EQ or TU or EQ and TU for Discover.
How many pulls before red flags go flying?

It's confusing to me too. Amex and BofA are probably the most consistent. They first pull EX only and then if they are hesitant about something they may pull the others. I guess it's possible Discover can pull both EQ and TU like you mentioned.
We're in Florida, and they pulled EQ when my DH applied for More.
