Re: new to the credit card world

lots of debate.

i guess holding off on the amex bce sounds like a good idea cause of the backdate and recent app to AMEX. i guess ill apply for the chase in the future and see what happnes though. If i dont get it, not a big deal. im still super excited for the AMEX. and if i get turned down for the chase no harm.

TD could have been using an internal score.

TD is not an easy lender to crack either.  They have some stringent underwriting for their cards.  Their co-branded cards are a different story.   I think you will do just fine with Chase Freedom and Discover It.  I've had lots of luck coaching people through with building their profile with them.  Discover likes to be the first and Freedom is the entry level card for Chase along with a few others.  Good Luck!

Call the backdoor number for Chase and good luck

Sorry about the Amex

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Hi,

I would like to check the status of my app

CSR ..I'm sorry denied

You...I would like to be reconsidered

Then answer any questions they may have ..be polite and friendly

Part 2 if needed

CSR....Denied

I really want to have a relationship with Chase would you be willing to start me at a lower rate so I can prove myself I'm also considering moving my banking accounts to Chase.

Good luck and go get emSmiley Wink

I don't think you are denied for the freedom. With your thin file- there will be a review. However- I think you would have done better to wait till the first of the year for the BCE. No worries though- it's only a SP. I think you should look into the Discover also. Let us know on the Freedom. Smiley Happy
