Also note sometimes Chase needs more info so you may not be denied but call for best and faster results. I'll be pulling for you

Chase: 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst - Recons)

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: new to the credit card world

got the biggest moron and barely audible english on earth.

said im denied because i have no credit....

tried the whole switching concept, ill take a small limit, give me a chance...

answer you have no credit...

what do you mean i have 2 cards and a score of 704...

answer: we dont use scores and i see one card you have no credit. you need a chase savings account and checking account is 10,000 total with us, than try again.

Re: new to the credit card world

I wouldn't necessarily give up. It took me 2 phone calls to them to finally be approved. I think others have even made more calls than that. It's disheartening though, I know. Good luck on call 2!

With Chase never ever settle for one recon...wait until later tonight and try again.

I have seen people get approved after the 3rd call YMMV

But don't take the first no as an indication and give up
