nfcu lowest apr says 7.99

Is 7.99 the lowest apr anyone can get from nfcu or is that already including the prime rate.  If I got 7.74 plus prime =10.99 then the lowest should be 7.99, seems like they mean 7.99 with prime rate  added already?  My oldest son wants to apply and I was curious about apr.

Pretty sure that's 7.99 + prime (I'm going to go look)

I don't even know where my terms are anymore.

Re: nfcu lowest apr says 7.99

If the APR is fixed at 7.99, that means it does not depend on the Prime Rate.

X+Prime = 7.99 for the NFCU Platinum Visa/MC, for those who qualify

Correct, very few cc products are fixed rate these days, one that comes to mind IIRC is the PSECU Visa.

Thanks for the link. The way I read it, 7.99% is the minimum rate. The actual rate varies depending on the Prime Rate.
