oh uh i poked the bear(BARCLAYS)

so today i get a random call from a strange number and i answered and as soon as i hear barclays in mt head im OH NO MY APPLE CARD! lol they called to ask me about all my new accounts and Inqs and tell me that im about to become a corcern to them and will keep a eye on me lol. I was sweating thinkin they were calling to tell me they were closing my account...got lucky i guess.

How many new inq's and new cards opened since you got your Apple card?

Goal: 700 and an Amex Card!

I got my apple card on november '11 and went on app spree on june. 15 new accounts and about 19 new inqs between all 3 crs.

My streak of 5 for 5 pales in comparison to your 15 new accounts.  Colour me impressed but be careful.  Don't get into trouble with that many new accounts.

That's crazy! I can't believe some companys do that! It's not like they only have a few hundred people with their cards, they have MANY thousands and they monitor stuff like that.

I dont blame Barclay in this instance.  15 new accounts is a lot of new credit in a relatively short amount of time.  At least they called him and gave him a warning.  Let it serve as a reminder to build slowly and lay a strong foundation.
