I have seen some posts about peoples payments being "held' for 7+ days when they make multiple payments a month.
Is this true of the It card?
I made a payment on 2/22 (it posted the 25th, next business day).
My statement closing date is 3/6 and I'd like to make another payment before that and ultimately make 2 -3 payments a month.
Will this be okay or will they start holding my payments/funds?
Keep in mind that I have only had my Discover IT card for about a month and a half now, I have made at least 6 payments to them since that time - and so far having only recieved one statement. So far, I have had no payments held at all. I love my IT card! Hope this helps.

In my case it just tells me that i have to wait at least 3 days after last payment posting to make another one or else the payment could be on hold for up to 7 days. So I just make multiple payments 4 days off each other...
Ouch. Do they hold payments if you 'push' payments?
If this is true Discover IT needs to be exposed!

+1
I made four payments to my Discover It card last month. None were held; all were properly credited. But then, I've had that card for many years, so YMMV if the account is a new one.
I have had the more for 7 mo. and always make multiple payments none have ever been held.I t does tell you if you make payments inside of three days it will put a hold so I just make sure I'm at least four days apart like another poster does.
I have not had any issues with Discover holding. I make multiple payments a month on all my cards and the only one that puts a hold is my Walmart card.....
I have made electronic payments twice a week since getting the card in November and never had nay problems. Discover is the slowest in posting payments. Can take them two days for it to show while most card companies show next day
I've been paying weekly, some times twice a week, as others have posted, and yeah, never a problem with discover holding a payment. Longest it's taken is 2 days.
