one baddie ready to drop

i've got an old mbna credit card settled for less than owed.  most of it was interest and fees.  boa took over so its showing as boa.  tu says i will drop 9/08.  2 lates 4/06 and 5/05 on one account.  good since then. util from 83% now to about 48% and falling.  you can see my scores.  any guesses what my score will be like when this drops?

Re: one baddie ready to drop

Hi lisa, Smiley Happy

If this is the last baddie on your reports, don't be
suprised if your scores pop 50-70 points. Smiley Happy

We had a forum member in a similar situation last month.
He had a 690 Equifax before the last baddie dropped. Once
it dropped, his score shot up 70 points to 760!. He went online
to BMW Finance and got pre-approved for a brand new car and
then picked it up at a local dealership later that afternoon. When
he got to the dealership he found he'd also been pre-approved for
a BMW Visa card, so he accepted that as well. And all because his
last baddie dropped. How sweet is that???!!! Smiley Very Happy

So yes, when the last baddie drops from a credit report (assuming
the rest of your accounts are in good standing). scores can really
skyrocket. Smiley Happy

Good luck to you! Smiley Happy

[ Edited ]
I have one small medical collection from 2001 ($85) that is scheduled to drop off in August. It is only reporting on EX, and my EX is 620 where EQ and TU are ~690. Hopefully I can get a nice bump to get all 3 reports within 10-15 points of each other!

This is my FINAL baddie to go away. For the first time in almost 15 years, I will have no lates, collections, BK or anything else bad - now I just gotta work on util!
