I would bet that even if you app'd tonight you account would actually be set up on the 2nd or 3rd... just my guess though
Even if that's the case, the member date would still be 2012. I've found those app dates to be absolute. So no matter how long it takes them to set up the account, the "member since" date starts on the date of approval (with a small exception for backdating, of course).

I tried calling AMEX to find out what my limits are for BCE and Hilton Honors Surpass but no one was in! LMAO!! Guess I have to wait until Wednesday to find out my limits.
