paying NF credit card payment

What are my options for paying my NavyFederal credit card payment if I am sending the payment in the mail and I don't have a bank account, the payment is due on the 5th? Thank you!

Certified funds like a cashier's check or money order.

I don't think NF will take a money order. I thought you needed a bank account to get a cashier's check.

Maybe you could do bill pay at Walmart and pay in cash? I'm not sure if the one by you takes CC payments.

If in fact they do not let you pay with a money order you can always fund your checking/savings account you have with them and just transfer the funds to your credit card for payment.

I can't imagine anyone not taking a money order. But you could be right. Call and ask them.

The need to have a checking account in order to get a cashier's check depends on the bank IME. Members can get a CC for free but non members have to pay a fee.

It's worth calling a few local backs or credit unions and ask what their policy is.

cashiers check or money order. they WILL take either. also, you don't need a bank account for either, but you'll be assessed a fee for each. money orders are cheaper though
