That's the problem!  You have to use a different card around the statement closing date.

So my Freedom closed 7/15 and my Amex closed 7/27 so would a good rule of thumb be to calculate the statement closings dates around the 15 and 27 of each month give and take a day depending on month length?

Starting Score: EX: 736 FAKO | TU: 757 FICO | EQ 730 FICO
Current Score: EX: 736 FAKO | TU: 750 FICO | EQ 730 FICO
Goal Score:     EX: 750 FICO | TU: 750 FICO | EQ: 750 FICO
