I'd open a new card to replace it, then close it :-)

I thought for you it was more like:

1) Open a new card to replace it

2) Open another new card in case something goes wrong with the first

3) And another to be safe.

4) Oh, hardly seems worth closing the old one now.....

Re: question regarding closing an account

What is the point of opening 4 more cards?I feel like is just a bunch of cards I will not need.

And when I'll close it, does it consider as a bad item on my report?

There is no point in opening cards you don't need or want.  (If you are referring to my post above, that is a joke).

Closing a card is usually fine, there are lots of good valid reasons to close so lenders do not interpret it badly.   The exceptions are where a lot of cards are closed at once by issuers (and not be you), making others wonder "What do they know?" or if you have a history of getting cards just for bonuses and quickly closing them.  These don't apply to you.
