questions for fidelity card holders

For the reward points:

Does it have the same value if you deposit it to cash management account instead of fidelity account?

Can it be redeemed towards statement credit? Or it's better to transfer to cash management or fidelity accounts?

For Amex or Visa cards:

Can you set up auto pay the statement balances with an external checking account?

For Cash Management Account:

Is it easy to set up transfer to/from other external accounts?

Can it replace a primary checking account?

Thanks in advance.

Cash Management account IS a Fidelity account, so you get full rewards redeeming it there.

Statement credit, check, deposit to non-Fidelity pay less, and should be avioided.

Auto-pay from external accounts works fine.

And yes, it is easy to transfer to and from CMA (as is common, I think you need to do verification of trial deposits to add a new external account, but that is easy).

And yes, it can replace primary checking, especially if you are using one of the big banks!

Re: questions for fidelity card holders

Thank you very much longtimelurker!

I thought fidelity account meant investment account.

Few more questions:

which credit report does fidelity pull?

Can I use one pull for opening cash management and credit cards?

Or it has to be seperate pulls?

To open the investment accounts they don't do a pull.

The fidelity Amex app is usually EX that I have seen and was for my partner and fidelity visa for me was also ex.

fidelity CLI like other BofA cards was TU pull.

just an random thought on fidelitys cash management account, its an pretty good checking account in general. Has no fees or min balance requirements, and I think you get reimbursed for atm fees. Not too shabby if you ask me :-)

It's very good to know. I used to check out the charles schwab checking account alot. It's the same kind of deal. How's the web interface? Is it modern or old like in the 90s?

That i don't know :-) i don't actually have it but from what i have heard and friends who have it they like it. features wise i think its similar to schwab one, only schwab one has is the .10 % interest and no FTF on atms internationally.
