Looking for an easier approval CC with a decent BT offer.   Scores 675 TU, 681 EQ.  No clue about experian score.   No baddies, just a younger credit file(3 1/2 years)     Any ideas?

Capital One Platinum card right now has 0% Transfer APR until Feb., 2010

Capital One might not have the cl you're looking for though.

Re: "Easier" CC with decent BT offer

Citibank still has cards with 0 percent BT for 15 months. Your EQ score should be high enough for it (mine was 660-ish when I got mine), but recent derogs are an instant decline for Citi.

So if your report is clean you stand a good shot.

Here we go again...

Re: "Easier" CC with decent BT offer

She has the Citibank($3800 CL) and a BofA($1000 CL).   Would it be better to try for Discover or another card with Citibank?

Re: "Easier" CC with decent BT offer

to keep options open and go with the stronger bank choose discover.

citi in particular is likely to be a relatively high maintenance issuer for the foreseeable future.

Re: "Easier" CC with decent BT offer

My scores are about 680 and I was declined for the 0% BT Citi Platinum 4 days ago.

Tried for recon and was told to fax EQ report, which I did yesterday, all 38 pages.

Now I have to wait a few more days for their decision.

Re: "Easier" CC with decent BT offer

For the Bank of America Platinum Plus card that score_building mentioned, this offer might now be by phone only. There is an offer code that you need to mention.
1-800-932-2775 and mention offer code FAATCY.

But here is a link that partially works:
