I have the backdoor number, but no lunch break today.
Are they open after 5p? And also, is there anything I should be prepared to give them as far as extra info etc?
I had a fraud alert on my account last year due to a data breach, but I think it's gone away now. Not sure what else it could be, other than my non-rockin' 687 credit score. Still, I have 100k+ income, 80K in retirement/savings, and 0 CC debt on my 5 open accounts. Oldest card is almost 10 yrs., youngest is about 7. Thoughts?

Oh and, any idea how long these calls usually take? Are we talking 30 mins - 1 hour or is it not that bad? Have a jammed day, but would like to figure it out if possible so I know whether to wait on buying my plane tickets. ![]()

First, have you checked your app status again on line? Most "further review" with Amex convert within hours. Or are you saying they asked you to call? Mine took about 4 hours to go from under review to approved on the application status site. Might be worth checking before you call.

I got that message yesterday and immediately went to the app status page where it showed approved. I would check there first or again if you have already.

How do you check again? Mine is saying the page is expired and I don't want to resubmit the app!

Congrats!! It may take a day or two, but you can call 800.567.1083 (it's an automated line) and get your CL info. ![]()
