"Inactive Account"

What is the difference between this and when the account reports "closed".  I'm guessing my total Util does not include CL on these accounts?

Unless an account is closed, it still factors into the utilization equation.

I have heard of several people having their cc closed due to inactivity...some as little as 6 months.

Or HSBC, which was about 3 months for me.....

But that is good news, that "inactive" does not mean "closed" for scoring purposes.

Anyone else have something to add to this question?
