Yeah, I have also used my Gold at the bar quite a few times. Also at the pool hall. I work hard all week, and I like to go out and knock back a few with my friends and shoot a few games a pool on the weekend. I don't think that's a big deal at all, nor does it indicate me as high risk. But then again, Amex is weird.

I play a lot of shows at bars also, and I use my card to pay my tab at the end of the night.

I wonder if Amex looks at the amount of your tab, and then takes notice if it's not followed up by a cab company charge

The AdamEve credit card is for online purchases through a select (ahem) group of retailers.  Suffice it to say that they're the kind sending brown-paper wrapped packages.

I only know because I googled it.  And my browsers didn't like the site and told me that I shouldn't go there.

Uh huh.  I used to get that catalog for awhile -- thanks to my dear friend Patrice.  For kicks I sat it on my Principal's desk one day (enclosed in its discreet packaging) and told him to look at it privately when he got a moment.  Hehehehehe.
