I know Walmart Discover seems to be good with CLI every 3-4 months. The real Discover, will have to wait and see.

I just called Discover to do a balance transfer because it wouldn't let me do one online. The rep told me my card is scheduled to be delivered on Monday, October 21, 2013. She mentioned the Post Office so I assume this was sent Priority Mail through USPS.

I guess it's safe to leave the house today

Sorry. Did you have a different type of Discover like the Discover More card?

Sorry to hear that then because yes it was like a denial or you can look at it as a product change. The only real issue in your case was the HP didn't really generate a CLI, but some creditors do require a HP for a product change.

I understand. Discover denied me August 6th and approved me October 17th for $6500. My score may have improved only 10-15 points, but my student loan which was closed/sold (125k) wasn't on my report on August 6th but was on report for October 17th. My utilization hadn't changed either. I feel, probably like you, a wasted HP.
