I got one, ignored it for a while, then decided to apply online. Was approved for $4000!

I had a similar story. Received preapproval offers once or twice a week for about 2 months before I finally applied. Only card I had at time time was CO $750 for a year and a half. Perfect payment history. My util was <10% at time time of application. Approved for 4,500 limit! FICOs between 680-700, discover welcome packet said my score was 716. They pulled TU and I'm in IL.
