I applied last week online and said it can't give me decision
so i called the backdoor number and the rep said that i was approved for CL 1000.00
so i called today to follow up and the status of the application is denied

I would go with what the rep said, wait for your card in the mail 
Just spoke to the supervisor credit analyst and she said maybe the rep at the time was looking at my june 28th application and saw my approval for cash rewards
but the decision was made that dude to sufficient credit i have been given they can't go ahead and appove me for another credit card -.-
I don't know which one to be more angry about now .. the fact that i was told one thing and today i'm told something different or the fact that i'm declined and been hit with a HP -.-

that's what set off my alarm i waited few days after hearing the rep say i'm approved and blah blah the good stuff
and yet i didn't see it on the bank online account
Call again. Usually the new account will populate your acct with 24 hours.

I called two times once with the # the cash rewards rep gave me and the backdoor # i called where the rep said i was approved
and the guy i was speaking with transfered me to the supervisor credit analyst and she said i had sufficient limit for the information i provided
I guess in a way that was a recon done at that call
I guess i'll move on and garden, and if i get the card in the mail i'll be suprised but i'm going on the premise that it's been rejected application 
I guess that bofa is on borderline on my list of banks i don't like again .. I just started to change my imagine about them but this happens
