You have a better chance of getting President Obama to agree to try to give birth to an elephant!

Sorry. I had to skip the forum replies. Capital one always does hard pull on your credit report asking for a cli "credit limit increase'. There customer service don't even know a H.P from a S.P. Pay in full and they will sometimes will give you a CLI automatically My 2 cents.

I have asked for a CLI countless times, I can't even remember how many times I have. I have never had them do a HP on my reports, they only do soft pulls...I'm not sure where you read they only do HP's, I would have to disagree with this 100%.

isn;t there an automated system at capital one you can request increase with?

Logan-720. Thanks for clearing that up. Your right and I'm wrong. I just looked at my Credit record from 3 years ago and it was a soft pull. I'm sorry for the misleading information to everyone. I'm calling Cap 1 for a cli now. I can't because I'm in the garden, which is considered a timeout for me..
Thanks for bringing that to my attention and everyone else's.
It is a Soft pull.

my credit sucks, but Cap One gave me a CLI from $500 to $2,000 out of the blue back in 2011
