Equifax 648 and I get  a decline for Household bank amex? Isn't HSB the credit company for people with credit issues?????

The HSBC Amex is one of their prime CCs. They normally pull EX. How is your EX score?

And how many HSBC products are in your wallet? They tend to not like to get too many accounts going. I have three and I think that is rather unusual. Most folks say two, unless invited.

Normally, it's one, unless invited for the second one.  YMMV, as always.
