Re: should I app for BCE??

It looks like you a got a shot if you go for it.

Question:  Does AU accounts factor into AAoA?  Cuz if it doesn't it seems like your AAoA would be lower.

Yes AU accounts factors into AAOA, this is why there are people who are hungry for a very old AMEX AU what Amex calls ACM additional card member.

basically if someone added you as an ACM had the account open from 1982, it's possible to backdate your member start date to 1982 which is 30 years of history even if your not 30 years old. Intresting thing is if you successfully backdate the account ANY Amex you get (not co-branded ones like costco or macy) will carry over 30 years of history as well.

It's getting harder and harder to do but sometimes if you call 20 times you can find someone to do it lol

Re: should I app for BCE??

I had a C1 that I opened in 2004 the CL was 500 and then they gave me a couple of CLIs until it was in $4500 no AF, I closed it in may because I didnt know anything about credit. That was so stupid on my part, if I would've known about this forum before that card would still be open. Well that card counts in my AAoA.
