southwest visa lowest limit

I was approved today for this card with only a 1,000 limit. Has anyone received a limit this low for the card before? Myfico trans is 691 and eq 689... 1 collection PIF in 07 and 1 late boa in 09 should i call for a CLI immediately?

It's a Chase card so they would likely do another hard pull for a CLI. I would say let your score get a little higher and then ask for a CLI in 6-12 months.

You were right alph... called back for cli recon and got declined... guess i'll wait a year and try again. Very excited to have this card though...

How many points did they give you, given the low CL?

5/2012: 560 credit scores across the board
12/2014: 750+
3/2017: 780+
11/2019: 833

25k for signing up... they had a 50k promo going for a while.

I didn't know they approved that low, this is one card that I want very much. Hoping I have enough willpower to wait it out until march 2013.

don't get too carried away now... only apply for cards you really need! since your Southwest CC hasn't reported yet your scores and AAoA haven't taken a hit yet!
