If I apply and get the "need more time..." message. how long do I have to wait to call for the status?

You can call immediately if you have a backdoor number. I always have when I get that message.

What if the recon is denied, can you recon the recon? lol. If yes, I think I read something about being able to do so within 30 days??

You can recon a recon, but some creditors are on this and keep logs of conversations so they'll ask you why you are calling again after you were denied a 1st recon (Chase) ![]()

I app'd on 9/17 when my score was a lot lower than it is now. Also, 2 collections that were on then will be deleted in the next couple of days as well. Plus I paid a cc that was reporting 146% util (was trying to do a bal xfer) in full and will report within the next few days, AND finally, I paid my last 90+ cc balance down to approx 80%. Figured all those changes were bound to bump my score up at least 20 pts into 660+ territory..
Also, Is it true that a hard pull is good for 30 days? What does that mean exactly?
