I promised myself no more apps, but applied for Discover instant approval of $5000. cl. Then I applied for amex bce. No instant decision- just says app in progress? I am sure they will let me know but does anyone know how long it takes? And good or bad sign?

Confirm you are checking here for your status? I got the 7-10 day message when I applied but the status page said approved 15 minutes later. If you get approved you can call them to find out your credit limit.

yes that is where I checked. It says application status in progress.
