walmart 7-10 day message

Has anyone received this message recently when applying for a Wal-Mart card? Any time I have received this from a creditor in the past, it meant denial. Just wondering If there is hope, and If not, at what score do they usually approve? I think I'm close to 600.

Usually, that's a denial. For approval, scores needs to be in the upper 600s for consideration. With a bankruptcy, it's a little more difficult.

I just got the itch to app after seeing so many approvals! And I was approved at rcwilley today for $500 cl (a furniture store) so I thought I'd have a chance.

600 is a little low even for WalMart but its not unheard of.  They are one of the easiest to qualify for....you have already suffered the inq hit - might as well call.

Walmart denied me instantly. A 7-10 day msg. sometimes means they need more info. I say call, ya never know, and who wants to wait that long?

I did call!! They are closed will have to wait until tomorrow. Unless there is an alternative 24 hour number!
