Are these cards considered credit cards or store cards?  Just wondering if they have the same impacr on scores as say, Visa, MC, discover or Amex.  Thanks!Smiley Happy

Walmart Discover, Best Buy MC I think sucks but on occasion in past we have seen $10, $20, even $32k I believe which is insane considering it was initially designed for people with no or poor credit starting at $100.00.

Home Depot Store Card mostly...

They all help credit just the same if good standing and such.

Re: walmart, best buy and home depot

I have a Home Depot card (backed by Citi) and it's been great so far! I've had the card 13 months, and was already given a very generous CLI. They report every month to all 3 as well, so that helps a lot. Good card to look into!
