walmart cli denial letter had credit score

I actually requested a cli twice over a two month time frame... i was denied but the denial listed my tu credit score. . If it is a soft pull like everyone here says, then how do they obtain a credit score on soft pull.. doesnt that ndicate it Was a hard pull?.

Creditors can obtain your score with either a soft pull or a hard pull.    You'll have to check your report to know which it is.

Most likely wasn't a HP. Like the previous poster said, they can get a score from a SP.

What this means is that they based their decision off of a SP, as opposed to your "experience at your current credit limit."
