Did the long phone call request for DH's lousy 250 bucks and got nothing.
His TU FICO just went up to 647 this month, too.
The utilization is 20%. Probably shoulda paid that first, huh?
FYI..

I only used my card once for christmas ans only spent 70 dollars and one day looked at my account a couple of weeks ago received $200 increase. I believe it was right after 4th statement or so.
Don't feel bad. They didn't give me one either. I promptly phoned in after the 4th statement cut and was summarily denied. Received the letter and reasons given were not enough time at current limit, obligations to other creditors and utilization. I just chalked it up to meaning that the 4 month rule isn't hard and fast anymore. My overall utilization, at that time, was 50% I believe. I've since paid that down and am at zero percent, so once my reports update at the end of the month I'll try again. Good thing it's a soft pull.
That seems to be the case.
While there are many posts here that state that Wally give auto increases after the 4th statement, that is not always the case. I've seen increases before the 4th statement and after the 4th statement. I don't think util has a lot to do with it. Your starting score has a lot to do with credit lines. Wally wants to keep you coming to shop so future increases will come.
i must be lucky becuase i was able to get 2,000 CLI on my first year of been member.
It looks like GE may be changing the way they're doing CLIs. People have reported that the luv button is gone and they're not getting CLIs at 4 months, like before. Yet GE just gave auto CLIs to a bunch of people So, my hunch is that they're changing the way they're doing CLIs. Don't know that for sure, but that would be my guess.
Before I asked my CU for a CLI, I made sure all my CCs reported zero, except for one. Don't know if WM/GE softs for CLIs, but just in case, it would probably be a good idea.

My 4th statement is coming up on the 20th, I hope they show me some luv!
GE is doing this random CLI lately. I dont think the 4th statement thing even works anymore.

Man that would really suck. I'm looking forward to a nice increase from them!
