What kind of credit limit can I expect with a 650ish FICO?

$1500-$2500 is my guess.

Re: wamu credit card

I received a pre-approval in the mail today and got a $3,000 limit. I'm assuming they pulled my TU since that's double my highest CL to date.

Not applying again until August 2009, and only then with a 700+ credit score!! Wish me luck..... ugh.

Re: wamu credit card

I'm pretty sure WaMu pulls EX almost everywhere.  I've never had them pull TU for me.  Although the PFICO I get from them is alway TU.

Re: wamu credit card

I was just assuming they pulled TU since my EX and EQ have both dropped considerably lately. I doubt they would have given me such a limit with a 618 score, but maybe.

Re: wamu credit card

There is no telling with WaMu.  I have noticed that they are REALLY pushing balance transfers lately.  I've gotten a bunch of new WaMu card offers in the past few weeks with 0% B/T offers til October 2009.  They do have 2-cycle billing though so PIF it as often as you can if you get the card.

What is 2-cycle billing? Sorry for the dumb question.

They pull TU for lots of people, too.

Not a dumb question at all.

It means that in any billing cycle in which a finance charge is imposed (because you didn't PIF the last cycle's new balance in full), the finance charges will be calculated using your average daily balance of the previous two billing cycles instead of just the last cycle.  This means if you don't PIF, you may actually be paying interest on charges you PIF'd up to two months ago.
