what has been your biggest purchse using AMEX

$9k for the balance due on my car. The dealer allowed me to use a CC with no charge. I was going to be pay the balance off with cash, but used my Amex instead without a problem.

Couldn't hurt, but I had no problem putting the down payment of my car on my PRG and Delta cards. 1k on each and the insurance payment up front on my PRG the same day.
