what is Cap One doing.

Well I submitted a dispute with Equifax because they hadn't updted my Cap 1 card since April/May. And the balance is $500 + lower now.

I looked on my TU report yesterday and they removed there reporting from "ok" to BLANK, for sept 07 thru april 08, and removed "ok" to blank for may and june of 09.  They changed my payment from $15 to $70 and that is incorrect because I looked online.

What is Cap one doing and what should I do. Is this hurting my score?

Re: what is Cap One doing.

I have had reasonably good experience calling CapOne directly and disputing the account error and asking them to fix.  They file an internal "dispute" and once they investigate and come to a conclusion, they update the CBR's.  It took 2x to get it right, but they finally fixed my issue which was failing to report the CL, just the balance and had coded the account type as open instead of revolving.
