3k for Barclays apple was the highest instant i got, Most of the cards ive been approved for required 7-10 days or call for instant decision (probably becuase i had many inquiries at the time)
But 90% of the time when i got the 7-10 day message i end up getting approved days later once the app is manually reviewed and they notice that aside from inquiries my credit file is pretty solid.

It they did instant approvals it would have been from Compass Bank at $8,000. (They don't do instant approvals for anyone, but it took less than an hour to get that limit, which was actually very fast for them!)
Other than that it was for $2,500 from Barclays. (I later PC's that card and got a lower limit. I had to reapply and went through som hassle with that!)
