OP, I think that at some point, it would be great if you would consider doing a final summary of the replies (Example #1 --highest instant CL ever reported, all CC companies inclusive; Example #2--highest CL ever given (as far as we can determine) by each of the major CC companies such as Chase, Discover, AMEX; Example #3--highest CL by each of the major credit unions such as PenFed, NFCU; Example #4--highest CL product offered by a given company, such as Chase Sapphire = highest instant CL offered, as compared to their Freedom or Amazon products)
Yes, I am a nerd, I love stats, and I've been enjoying this thread, but couldn't resist making a suggestion!

aw man I'm so lame - my highest CL (instant) was for a credit card nobody has ever heard of (First Savings Credit Card) at $750, followed by a lame Merrick Bank at $650.00 ![]()
